100 Acts of Good

The Rotary Foundation turns 100 Years Old this year!

Arch Klumph's idea of creating an endowment fund dedicated to "doing good in the world" planted the seed for The Rotary Foundation in 1917 with an initial $26.50. Today, that would be valued at approximately $495.35. Not a bad start!

The Rotary Foundation is turning 100, and that is definitely something worth celebrating! To celebrate this event, and to recognize the many things that the Rotary Club of Florence is able to accomplish in our community and around the world, we will be capturing 100 Acts of Good that occur throughout the year. Our club touches so many people and makes such a difference in the lives of the residents of Florence. We also touch the lives of other clubs within the district and throughout the world through the grants and projects we support. Finding 100 Acts should be easy!

Be sure to forward pictures of all our good works to the club for inclusion in our online and printed publications and to visit our Gallery!
